What we store on your device

CardHearth saves your in-progress games, settings (theme, card backs, sound preferences, and similar), and play statistics (games played, wins, streaks, best times) in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device — it is not transmitted to us and is not linked to your identity — unless you choose to sign in and sync it (see "Optional accounts" below). You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for cardhearth.com.

What we collect

We use two analytics services to understand how the site is used — which games people enjoy, and where things break. Google Analytics collects standard usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type) using cookies.Ahrefs Analytics is cookieless and gives us only aggregate counts. Neither tells us who you are, and we don't use them for anything else.

Advertising keeps the site free. We use Google AdSense, which loads its own script and may set advertising cookies to measure ads and — where permitted — personalize them. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline personalized ads there or in your Google ad settings at any time.

If you turn on the optional daily-reminder notification, we store the web push endpoint your browser gives us, plus your chosen reminder hour and timezone — enough to send the reminder, and not linked to your identity. Turning the reminder off removes it.

Optional accounts

You can play everything as a guest with no account. If you choose to sign in (with Google) to sync your progress across devices, we store only your account's email address and your game progress (stats, streaks, and badges) — nothing else. We never post anything, never contact you without asking, and you can sign out or request deletion of your synced data at any time by emailing us. Guest play remains fully available and unaffected.

Children

CardHearth is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
