Easy puzzles start with around 40 of the 81 squares filled and only ever require the simplest techniques — scanning for a square where just one digit fits, or a digit with only one home in a row, column or box. No advanced steps, and never any guessing.
Is easy Sudoku good for beginners?
Yes — it is the best place to learn. Every easy puzzle here is guaranteed solvable by pure logic, so if you are stuck there is always a deduction to find, never a coin to flip. Use the hint button if you want a nudge.
How do pencil marks help?
Tap Notes (or press P) and mark the candidate digits in a square. As you place real numbers, matching candidates are cleared automatically from the same row, column and box.
